Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information ThrottleProxy handles, why it is needed, how long it is kept, and the choices available to business users.

Effective: July 2, 2026 · Last updated: July 2, 2026

1. Who controls your information

Outstanding Net LLC, doing business as Outstanding Net and operating the ThrottleProxy service, is the controller of personal information described in this policy unless a customer agreement identifies a different role. Our address is 11908 Cedarwood Dr, Shelby Twp, Michigan 48315, USA. Contact: info@throttleproxy.com.

When ThrottleProxy processes request configuration or operational information solely on a business customer's instructions, that customer may be the controller and Outstanding Net LLC may act as its service provider or processor.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and identity information, including email address, authentication provider identifiers, email-verification state, and account-security state.
  • Workspace information, membership roles, invitations, API-key metadata, allowlist and domain configuration, billing tier, support communications, and audit events.
  • Service and security information, including bounded request lifecycle metadata, status codes, timing, usage totals, rate-limit events, and security signals. ThrottleProxy is designed not to retain raw proxied request or response bodies as ordinary lifecycle evidence.
  • Payment and subscription identifiers supplied by Stripe. ThrottleProxy does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers.
  • Newsletter email and consent evidence when you expressly subscribe. Unsubscribed addresses are reduced to a one-way suppression digest where practical.
  • Public-site analytics only when optional analytics is enabled and you consent where required. Optional analytics is currently disabled unless the cookie control states otherwise.

3. Why we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, enforce tenant and workspace boundaries, process customer instructions, prevent abuse, operate support, maintain auditability, communicate transactional notices, administer subscriptions, improve reliability, and comply with law.

Depending on context and location, the legal basis may be performance of a contract, legitimate interests in security and service operation, compliance with legal obligations, or consent. Newsletter marketing and optional analytics rely on consent where required, and consent may be withdrawn.

4. How we disclose information

We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to infrastructure, authentication, communications, payment, security, and support providers that help operate ThrottleProxy. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law and continued protection of the information.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. A newsletter suppression record is maintained to honor an opt-out and is not a marketing asset; it may be handled by a compliance provider or lawful successor that must continue honoring the suppression.

5. Retention

  • Operational lifecycle, support, and audit information is generally targeted for deletion or de-identification within 90 days unless a longer period is necessary for security investigation, dispute resolution, contract, or law.
  • Closed-account operational data is targeted for deletion within 30 days, subject to ownership transfer, fraud prevention, backup cycles, legal holds, disputes, and legally required billing or tax records.
  • Unconfirmed newsletter records may be removed after 30 days. Active subscriber information remains until consent is withdrawn. A one-way suppression digest may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to honor an unsubscribe.
  • Authentication, subscription, transaction, and corporate records may be retained for the period required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

6. Security

ThrottleProxy uses layered technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport, server-side authorization, tenant scoping, restricted administrative access, credential redaction, destination validation, resource caps, and audit events. No internet service can promise absolute security. Notify us promptly at info@throttleproxy.com if you believe an account or system is at risk.

7. International transfers

Outstanding Net LLC operates from the United States and uses providers that may process information in the United States and other countries. Where legally required, transfers from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland will use an approved legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or contractual safeguards. Contact us to request applicable transfer information.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Access or export account information through Account Security where available.
  • Ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or provide portable personal information, subject to verification and legal exceptions.
  • Object to or withdraw consent for direct marketing. Every newsletter provides an unsubscribe mechanism.
  • Reject optional analytics through cookie controls where analytics is offered.
  • Appeal or complain to an applicable privacy or data-protection authority. EU and UK residents may contact their local supervisory authority.
  • California and other US-state residents may exercise rights available under applicable law without discriminatory treatment.

9. Business users and children

ThrottleProxy is intended for business users who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Updates

We may update this policy as the service, providers, or law changes. Material changes will be identified by a revised date and, when appropriate, an account or email notice. Earlier versions may be requested by contacting us.
