Cookie Policy

ThrottleProxy separates necessary account and security storage from optional public-site analytics.

Effective: July 2, 2026 · Last updated: July 2, 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains browser cookies and similar local-storage technologies used by ThrottleProxy. Cookies are small values stored by a browser or sent with a request. Similar technologies include local storage and tags.

2. Strictly necessary technologies

Authentication, workspace continuity, security controls, and your cookie preference may require strictly necessary cookies or local storage. These technologies cannot be disabled through our preference control because the requested account or security function may not work without them.

  • Supabase authentication session cookies for signed-in users.
  • Active workspace and security cookies needed to keep requests scoped correctly.
  • A local cookie-preference record that remembers whether optional analytics was accepted or rejected.

3. Optional analytics

ThrottleProxy may offer consent-based Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager to understand aggregate public-page use. Optional analytics is loaded only after an affirmative analytics choice where the feature is configured. It is not required to use the site or dashboard, and rejecting it does not reduce service access.

When optional analytics is disabled in our production configuration, no Google analytics tag is emitted even if a previous browser preference allowed analytics.

4. Managing your choice

Use the Cookie settings control in the public-site footer to review or change optional analytics. Clearing browser storage may remove the saved choice and cause the site to ask again if optional analytics is configured. Browser controls can also remove cookies, but removing necessary authentication cookies signs you out.

5. Updates and contact

We will update this policy if cookie purposes or providers materially change. Contact info@throttleproxy.com with questions about storage technologies or privacy choices.
